Roadside help & jump starts
Not every breakdown needs a tow. A flat battery, a wheel change or an empty tank can often be sorted where you are, so you can drive on. If it can't be fixed at the roadside, the flatbed is already there.
When to call
- Flat battery: the car clicks or won't turn over
- A flat tyre and you have a spare wheel
- You've run out of fuel
- A warning light and you want a simple check before deciding what to do
How it works
- Call or WhatsApp me your location and what the car is doing
- I tell you the price before I set off
- I try to get you going at the roadside
- If the car still won't go, I can take it on the flatbed

Get safe first
Hazard lights on. On a fast road, get out on the side away from traffic and wait behind the barrier, not in the car. If anyone is hurt or you're in danger, call 999.

I tell you the price and when I'll get to you. In most of Bedford that's 15 to 20 minutes. No membership needed.

Will a jump start fix my battery?
It gets you going. If the battery is old or faulty it may go flat again, so have it checked soon after.
Can you change a wheel without a spare?
I need a spare wheel to fit. If there isn't one, I can take the car to a tyre shop or your garage.
What if you can't fix it?
Then I can load it on the flatbed and take it where you want, and we agree that price before I do.
